Milk and farmers
The strength of Fattorie Osella has always been the use of local milk, provided by selected farms in the area, in the provinces of Cuneo and Turin, every day.
The care spent on farms has always been a priority for us and this is the reason why we sustain the adoption of farming practices based on the use of traditional forages.
Preserving and protecting Piedmontese breed is one of the main focuses of the company, due to its rarity in the cheese factories.
We know all our farmers’ names and are in touch with them on a daily basis.
Every one of them is encouraged to contribute increasing the level of excellence, thanks to the acknowledgements system aimed at rewarding those who are able to achieve set quality parameters.
